About us

Bowls is a highly enjoyable sport for men and women of all ages. It is an excellent outdoor pastime catering both for serious bowlers and for those who are just looking for a friendly, sociable roll-up. All are welcome at Townsend Hook.

Our green is maintained to an excellent standard by the members, with a dedicated group turning out on Mondays to work on the green and its surrounds.

Apart from the twice-weekly roll-ups, we play inter-club friendly matches on Wednesdays and at the weekend. We also enter teams in the Medway league on Monday evening, the Weald league on Tuesday evening, the Friday night mens triples league and the Maidstone ladies league.
